The Haunting Effects of Corruption—on Societal Institutions and the Physical Laws of the Universe

Fenrir has suffered a dizzying fall. Gone are his titles, his wealth, and his very name, all lost when he turned against the mathematical Church he once served. Now, he’s a broken shell of a man with no sense of purpose until Sophie enters his life, harboring a horrid secret. When Fenrir learns of it, he doesn’t flinch. Instead, she infuses him with purpose because to save her, to truly set her free, he must first set the world on fire.
Blessed is the Rot touches on the costs of bearing secrets and hiding lies and how these can manifest in sickness, both in terms of society and the physical laws of the Universe. For fans of dark science fantasy, cosmic horror, and love stories.
