What is a street team?
Think it of like a fan club that directly interfaces with the mind behind the fandom. But also think of it like a virtual stand-in for that coveted word-of-mouth that really helps authors reach new readers. In short, you all will help me grow my readership, and in exchange, you’ll receive little treats. More on that in a second.
What exactly do I have to do?
First, let me say that you only have to help as much as you are able and willing. I’ll occasionally reach out with requests, and you can contribute as often as your schedule allows. This will mostly involve sharing posts to social media, chiming in on discussion boards (Reddit) or groups (Facebook), and perhaps helping with nominations for awards which are open to the public.
What do I get out of it?
Besides the warm and fuzzy feeling of knowing you’re helping a new author? Fret not. There are tangible rewards! These will range from giveaways, early access to new content, more direct communication with me, the ability to better interact with one another.
